Better not upset him then, cause unless things start going our way soon thats where we'll be playing next season."Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

yep last night he wasnt even chasing the ball down or trying to win it back after he lost it. he even engaged in some adel style arms in the air, "why aren't i getting the service?" moans as if he is this brilliant ball-smith who needs to be fed the ball all the time. the idea that when the team aren't really clicking, park was having a shocker and being played out of position to accomodate him, and faurlin and granero were having to work their backsides off to protect our shaky defence so therefore mackie might get stuck in and help out - well, it just didnt seem to occur to him.
the one positive is that surely now hughes will drop mackie, play park on the right, hoillet left and then start zamora and cisse up top together. maybe not a team for an away match but surely the team v west ham.

He was played last night for no other reason than a run out. It says a lot when Dyer/Granero especially are reluctant to pass to him. One thing that has improved this season is our passing with the likes of Faurlin/Granero. Mackie simply does not have the ability to play this way which is why he looks so out of his depth. This might be why his effort levels have dropped as he is aware of this himself.

When we are playing Faurlin & Granero in the middle looking to play a neat possession based passing game, Mackie is not the player we need filling that role. Yes admittedly Adel holds on to the ball also, but he has a knack of picking out some great passes and I'd say a better dribble success rate. Even if it isn't a better success rate, he definitely creates more goalscoring chances. When was the last time you saw Mackie play a good through ball? All I can muster from my memory is his pass across to Adel at Palace 2 seasons ago!

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
