I can't believe how stupid many of our fans are. As someone above said, this thread is full of spoiled brats with the mentality of recent Chelsea fans. Harry Redknapp, hah. Stop reading the Sun guys, he's an overrated has-been.

Stability doesn't happen at clubs like ours or hasn't yet... Any decent manager we've ever had has usually been lured away.. TV and GF the most recent examples... Should we get rid of Hughes and appoint someone else and they start being successful then with the backing of TF et al they are likely to want to stay and then we will have the stability we all crave....

Look around and apart from AF, AW and David Moyes (he's not that obvious to be just known by his initials) there are very few top flight managers who have been at their club for more than a few seasons at best I reckon.. Mancini too maybe...anyway the point I'm making is that we are not alone in wanting shot of a failing manager most teams are in he same boat... Way of the world in football these days for better or worse....!
err... you do realise that it is still possible that Hughes might 'start being successful' and give us stability? Or would you rather just get in a new bloke and hope he passes your five game probation period?

It's also ironic that you mention Gerry Francis as an example of a decent manager. He didn't get his first win until mid-October. Wearetherangertards would have been calling for his head from September onwards. I think we finished fifth the following season.

We'll be fine, and to all the negative fans I say this. Prepare to put mustard on your words, for you will soon be consuming them along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame, set at gas mark "egg on your face"!

i do question hughes's tactics of late and the overall team performance.. but you can see we're not far from what we need to be to get the results.

sacking hughes will be the worst decision we make right now.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
          Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Calling for Harry Redknapp is utterly insane though.
100% AGREE. The same plonkers will be after Redknapps blood after he brings in Crouch Defoe Kranjcar Kaboul Lennon Huddlestone and then loses his first five games!! I think we have been poor in 2 games, Norwich and Swansea, the rest we played well in just havent had any luck at all. Once the goals go in we will be fine.

If nicky shorey didnt score the goal of his life last night would so many still be bitching? Im saying no, as we would be looking forward to Arsenal at home next round.

It's sir Lurko thank you very much....:drunk: I had had few last night and was maybe a little vercifious. It's just we need to be careful as continuious change cannot be a good thing.....and like it or not MH is probably the best manager we could attract given our status and size in the game.

Now I am going back under my rock ....

Nadal would make a good QPR player, always in the treatment room.
