Hughes has brought in Mike Rigg, Mark Bowen, Glynn Hodges, Eddie Niedzwiecki, Kevin Hitchcock, Damian Roden.
How you gonna shift that lot as well as MH?
Do you have to shift them? Bring in a new manager and keep the backroom staff. If Hughes gets a new appointment they'll leave to join him, if not the new manager will just have to work with them until they do leave and he can bring in his own team. Obviously this will impact on the quality of manager we can attract, but we can't keep throwing money away.
One thing calling for Hughes' head. I disagree, but I wouldn't expect any less from some on this messageboard at this stage.
Calling for Harry Redknapp is utterly insane though.
Sacking Hughes now would be insane too. I back Hughes and think he should be given a whole season to prove himself. But if he was to go I disagree with you about HR.
Hughes not living up to his comments he made, all be it its early doors but he said QPR will never be in the bottom half of the table... Get him out and HR in so we can get points on the board.
''sack him'' ''dead man walking'' moan all you want, TF won't sack MH after 5 games with facing Spurs, Chelscum and City among them. Sort yourselves out. With no wins after 15 games it might be realistic but not at this stage. He has signed 12 players and have made changes behind the scene, it'll take time for something like this to work out perfectly. 5 years ago we were stuck as a mid-table team in the championship with shitty owners - we are living the dream. If someone told me 5 years ago MH would be our gaffer in the future I would've laughed at them. We're facing the same process as both City and Chelscum went through and that project wasn't an instant success was it?

No, they weren't instant successes but neither were they embarrassing flops.

It would be a terrible idea to get rid of him, 2 weeks after the transfer window has shut. Let the team gel and lets make an informed decision towards Xmas time.
If someone else comes in, it would mean a whole influx of new players and possibly players frozen out, bit like when MH took over from NW.
We need stability and a bit of luck.
Just back from the game and Reading on the whole were awful, no idea how we didnt beat them.
We all are, but I stand firm on the fact that we've played 3 top teams among those 5 first games and we cannot yet predict the outcome of this season as our team are playing on 25% of their full capacity atm.
He said something like, QPR will never be in this kind of position again while I'm the gaffer. It was after the City game and I bet he's right
I took that to mean a last day relegation scrap.
That seems a little more likely than promising never be in the bottom half. I'm not sure any manager would say something that stupid. I would also assume that 5 games into the season is probably not the right time to say he was wrong too.
