Blimey....either exagerating to prove a point or god knows
This is where I despair with the ridiculous worship of Tarrabt and silly comparisons. Please respond with another professional player who simply does not head the ball, let along one that is world class. Messi, Ronaldo, Silva etc etc all understand the need to play for the team, all head the ball and most importantly make regular contributions to their respective teams results. Tarrabt only did that in the Championship, maybe he will prove me wrong but ont hold your breath.

In the next two seasons he hardly played any games, making the odd appearance as a sub. So you're talking absolute rubbish when yo try and say Granero was part of a formidable RM midfield that led them to win trophies.
Sorry mate, i watched a lot of la Liga over the past 9 years or so so your 1st point is rubbish

Also if you look at Granero's record coming through the ranks at Real Madrid you will see what i mean about the midfield he came through with and what they won

Might i suggest you do some homework on this subject then come back and comment.....RM's midfield..not the galactico's

      Have fun..

i think even Wikki disagrees with ya... i'll see if i can find some credible source to put your mind at rest then..

Be back shortly i hope !

BTW..i'm not only refering to his last 3 seasons..his career was what i said...I'll se what i can fine for ya!

In fact neither of you are "talking absolute rubbish" - you just have whats known as a difference of opinion, no more, no less

              • Winning things at youth and b team level does not make you a great player. So I really don't know why you're even bringing it up.

You tried to say he is a great player because he has been part of a formidable RM midfield that has won trophies, and this was just not true.

The guy is trying to make it seem as if Granero was a legend at Real Madrid, when he wasn't. He was unable to break into the first team on a regular basis, and his contribution was a bit-part player.

Sorry mate, I was talking about his whole career and yes a lot of what he achieved was at youth level.
for the record I have known about him for years, think he a more valuable player than Tarbs and rate him very highly
But I will accept that due to the Galactico's and Mourinhio he has not had a steady run in RM's first team.
I was refering to stuff he'd won when coming throught the ranks at RM.

Personally, i think he is one of, if not the best player we have in the squad, that is just MY opinion though. OI dont excpect you to agree but thats your choice.

Be back soon with that info i hope, bit pushed at work at the moment!

Fair enough, I thought you meant just the La Liga. I have not seen him during his younger days, so cannot comment on that. I thought his corners were a vast improvement with some of the rubbish Adel has taken over the past few matches that he has played, and he is probably a better all-round player, I just prefer Tarbs because I like a maverick who is full of skill.

                      • But hasn't this been the QPR formula in the past and why fans wanted something more than the constant fight to stay out of relegation.

Yes, ideally they would defend too, but if they don't, then that's the reason you have 4 defenders for.

                          • MH on Taarabt

Hmm, I missed this one yesterday, and no one posted it on here

Taarabt has not made an appearance for Hughes' new-look QPR side since the opening day of the season, when a comprehensive home defeat to Swansea prompted a squad overhaul.
The 23-year-old had been biding his time but has now become impatient waiting for another opportunity, and held talks with the coaching staff this week in a bid to find out if he still has a future at the club.
Manager Hughes refused to reveal details of the chat, but has now publicly backed Taarabt to win back a role in the side, as long as he puts more effort in during training sessions:
'On the first day of the season we were beaten at home quite extensively and I made changes,' said Hughes.
'These changes affected Adel, but he's very well thought of here. This is the best place for him and he will get games. He has to bide his time like a number of other players do.'
'He must keep on focusing on working hard in training and making it difficult to leave him out of the team.'
Morocco attacker Taarabt is one of the most exciting players in the Premier League on his day, and helped fire QPR to promotion from the Championship two years ago, scoring 19 goals in 44 matches.
However, after seeing a dream transfer to Paris St Germain collapse, the 23-year-old failed to replicate that form last term, with a series of off-field issues being blamed for his poor return of just two goals in 28 games.

I don't blame him for having a talk with the coaching staff. I would too. I'd like to know if MH will keep on talking about this training nonsense all the time or whether he'd let me get on the pitch and show my worth.
