Don't see the need to compare Granero and Tarbs. Different players, different qualities.
If all fit and free of problems I'd have Park, Granero, Diakite and Faurlin in my team. If Tarbs can fit in as well, then great. If not, those 4 are a must for me.
Fact is Granero played 3 games and has played well in all of them against top sides. Can't remember the last time Tarbs put 3 strong performances together in the PL.
Can anyone remnd me please? Before anyone starts, I'm not anti Tarbs, far from it. He's not very consistent, let's be honest, in spite of his ability. Ths is what makes hm so frustrating

I have a m8 who normally uploads the full 90; just waiting for him to send me a link; when he does, I will post on here.Stand and Deliver!

He looked very lively on Sunday and clearly has some ability. Still quite young and may need a bit more time to settle in before we see his full potential. Some players take a bit longer. We've been very lucky that Granero has settled in so quickly. I also think MH is not sure of his best line up, which means accomodating Hoilett in the right way / positionOriginally posted by sirduncs View Postsorry to sneak in and ambush the thread slightly but...am i the only one who has been a bit disappointed with hoilett so far...?

You said you wouldn't have signed him, and are not happy that fans are singing his praises. Are you saying Diakite is a better player than him now too?
Tarbs is more skillful than most players in the league, why do you think no one is in for him though?

i remember seeing hoilett against us at blackburn away last season...didn't he score or something? i recall thinking he looked great then. so yeah maybe he needs a bit more time.
anyway back on topic, and tarbs. a player who can elicit roars from the crowd when he does something brilliant...and then stifled groans as he overcooks it and loses possession and puts the team under pressure. and then there's always that cockney bloke in the SAR stand somewhere near me who starts shouting loud and uncalled for abuse at him. always one, eh.
i like tarbs as an r's player as he is creative and maverick, but yes it's like comparing apples with pears to compare him to the likes of ale and the pirate. for me, they all have parts to play in this season - it remains to be seen if hughesy knows what parts and when, just yet. i am certainly hoping to see tarbs and cisse start tonight though, they should hopefully make for a good spectacle!come on you r's!

I asked who could dominate in midfield like Granero and Faurlin have, and you've not answered.
I've asked is Diakite better than Granero, and you've not answered.
Can you please explain why we don't need Granero? Or which comments that have been posted about Granero that you feel are unjustified?

Granero, Faurlin and Diakite all have dfferent qualities which could work very well together
Don't see where there's a problem
Whether anyone wanted him or not, Granero has looked very good already, so let's be grateful we've got him
Any player that improves our play is needed and appreciated in my opinion.
It wasn't long ago we had Rowlands, Buszaky, Smith, Derry and Barton. Nothing wrong with them in the lower leagues but we're playing with the big boys now
