I don't think many people would have expected us to beat Spurs at White Hart Lane, but I feel like we must beat West Ham at home next Monday. Our next three league games are against the Hammers, West Brom and Everton - if we don't get six points from them then i'll be disappointed
Swansea played shite got spanked, norwhich played ok got a point, man city played okish got beat, chelsea played well got a point, spurs played well got beat.... 1 game i would say that we didnt get what we deserved.
We need to get a win, performances on a chart would prove we are improving. Home games are key. Injurys worry me
Yes we were very impressive today and I think we will beat a lot of teams of we play as we did today , but on the train home from the game at the mo it's still hard to take losing when we were on the lead and in control , pretty pi$$ed off tbh.
Oh well we are massively improving And suppose before we game none of us would be too upset with a 2-1 defeat and that performance.
Early days to say its "must win" but the Wet Spam game is certainly an important one for us that we really do need to win. If we do I think we will really kick on. Well impressed, again, with Granero n Ale in the middle. Hoilet looked a lot lot better also. Still don't rate SWP at all , would put Hoilet right and shove Cisse up with Bobby for Spam game.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
The West Ham game is a must win game in the sense that we need to get our first 3 points in the bag. If we lose, then I imagine the media and some of our fans will start piling the pressure on Mark Hughes and the team - which would not be a good thing.
Hoilett will never know that his name stayed on top of the real-time search keyword rank in the other side of earth for a while, I mean in Korea. To Koreans, he will be remembered as a player who doesn't know what 'return pass' is, who is good at 'charge-all-the-way-to-be-blocked-in-the-end' and who hesitated when the moment he tried to make himself was finally made, not by him but by his colleague.
Hughes' tactics was well executed by our players in the first half. Though it seemed somewhat defensive with slow tempo, with the tactics we could make some chances without the risks. What made us lose the game was just 2 mistakes with bad timing in the second half, I think. It's obvious that we are getting better as a team.
I really hope Hughes teach players such as Hoilett, Mackie(he's been improved in that sense but still lacks the delicacy), Diakite, Taraab the lesson that the teamplay is finalized with the effective passes in the end. If they are taught with that, we can get more scores than we give to the opponent. That would be the way we can win a game.
No offence mate but your comments on Hoilet are way off he played countless one twos with Zamora and was very lively up top having some cracking shots . One he should have tucked away where he tried waiting for the ball to roll across to his right foot.

First time poster, long time lurker. First half was the best we've played in the premiership. Contra media reports it wasn't that Spurs were poor, but that we were good. Dyer was first class at right back. Warnock said he could play there and I think, Boswinga at left back, he could do a very useful job for us there. Ale, Park and Granero were class, something which meant, unlike last season, we kept possession, which is the way we will win games. Great performance. Lucky Spurs.

Yeah, I know why he hesitated. As you said, he waited for the ball to be set in front of his right foot. But I think he should have moved himself, not just waiting. Because it was not the PK time when nobody would rush to block him.
Actually, I don't blame that mistake. I don't blame either Granero's mistake or Fraulin's one because those were just mistakes. They played well. But the reason I got saddened by the mistake Hoilett made was because he's the very man who wasted some chances with his usual play pattern of 'just charging without passes and got blocked.'
I just saw an interview with Mark Hughes and he said he's disappointed at the ref on their second, says there were clear fouls on Faurlin and Onouha, I didn't notice them at first glance, anyone at the match or watching on tv see that?
Posting here, as a *** who was at the game today.
Good support from QPR today, particularly in the first half, and to be honest, we were pretty flat in the noise department.
Spurs were **** today, again, first half especially, but credit where it's due, yiu were very unlucky not to take something from today. Grandad Brad kept us in it with two top saves in the first half.
I think you will do fine this season, and hope to get to the Bush for a Pie & Mash in Cooks!
At least that **** Terry can now join C18 eh !

Was it Faurlin? I thought it was Granero, but I guess I was wrong. It must have been Faurlin knocked off the ball to start the Spurs counter-attack. Should've been a foul.
Then seconds later when Onouha was trying to be the third defender back, he got blind-sided by a Spur and flattened - leading to the wide open 3-on-2 that was the winning goal. Should've been a foul. If Onouha hadn't been wiped out, he would've gotten back to make it a 3-on-3 or 4-on-3.
The ref let a lot go on both sides, so it's hard to complain. It's just that THEIR no-calls led directly to a winning goal.
