Leigertwood and Gorkss will more than likely be lining up against us.
Reckon Gorkss will get a good reception, not sure if Legs will get any sort of reception.

I agree. I liked Gorkss, but I wouldn't like to see him playing for us today - he's not good enough.

Hughes said he will take the cup seriously but wonder know what defence he would put out, cant afford any more injuries.
Wonder if Green will play as well ?

I think he'll play green in the cup. He needs to play.

The 25 player squad rule doesn't apply so might we see some changes at the back given that we can't afford any more injuries back there?

Fabio and Ferdinand, both scheduled to be out for at least two weeks after picking up injuries against Chelshyte, should be in contention for a place against Wet Spam on Mon 1st October.
Let's hope Mark Hughes puts any fears to one side, and puts out a team against Reading that sees us progress in the Capital One Cup, formerly known as the League Cup.

Ah, didn't know that. Yep, Nelsen's by all accounts playing today so I hope Hughes will rest him mid-week. Probably some Youngster + Clint hill as CBs?

I would expect Taraabt to start and Mackie on the bench. Otherwise would go along the same lines as you.
