Merely a suggestion. So who would you put in the back 4 then, based on the players available?

IF Traore and Mbia are unfit Dyer needs to play RB Bosingwa LB and Nelson and Onuhra in the middle. Three of the four have pace and that's Spurs biggest threat.

Traore is a lability, as said above always injured, limping or looking like he is injured. Not too sure about Mbia, all the interviews I have seen he doesn't look exactly excited about joining us and now an injury before he even starts.

          2) M'bia IS INJURY PRONE- has never managed more than 30 games in a season and can rarely do 2 in quick succession
30 from 38 games for a combative role player doesnt seem too bad.

To be honest there is no ideal solution at the back. No natural left back fit and Bale will tear Onuha to pieces if we play him right back. Personally I think the best bit is to put Onuha next to Nelson in the Middle, leave Bosingwa at right back to mark Bale and stick Hill in at left back. Definitely not the right game to be bringing in Ehmer or Harriman.

What I would say though is that Spurs had a very tough game in the week in Europe, it would be stupid to write us off even with a depleted squad!

That was a bit more reassuring, really. I really look forward to see him "in action".

Am I right in saying that Adebayor is injured???

According to Mail online(?) he will have to face a late fitness test. Personally, I hope he fails it.

completely agree, we've kept very few clean sheets since we came up and had a few serious hidings.
Don't need to be a mensa graduate to work out that a solid defence is crucial in building a good team.
No point have great midfield / forwards if we keep leakng goals
don't really understand why this has not been addressed properly

Clint Hill V Lennon seems a very unfair challenge.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If ferdinand and Mbia are injured the onouha has to blay at Centreback

with no left backs we can either go for Hill or Bosingwa. I would go with Bosingwa as he has better speed to deal with Lennon and better passing and ball retention. so we need a right back, bearing in mind the choices surely we have to go with Dyer who has top level league and international experience in that position

no one seems to rate Hill anymore after one bad game against that fat cheat. Im happy to have him come in against spurs preferably on the left

                        Bos Nel Onuh Hill

It could very well be that Clint will get the nod tomorrow. The reason why he played a bit under par against Norwich was partly due to the pressure he might have felt in front of a somewhat insecure Green and also the fact that Holt(which we should bought ages ago) twisted his arm into Hill´s. The latter happened time and time again.
Bottomline: Dont write Clint off, just yet. He might very well bounce back and make a comeback when needed. OK,No way he is able to cope with Bale and Defoe as far as speed is concerned, but his smartness and possitional play are usually top notch and might frustrate them.

Four defenders injured ... and some are saying our squad isn't as good as it looks anymore, which team would have a top class back four in the PL with 4 main defenders injured? Maybe City or United but not many teams.

And I pray to god that Hill doesn't start at CB, we would be demolished.

Hill will play and get a red card. Hoilett won`t play. Spurs will win 3-0. I will be crying.
