Mbia is clearly a talent, but I agree he has had his fair few injurys and I hope this 1 is not overally serious. He has been wearing a knee support, so I am slightly worried. I'd be tempted to start Samba in a 5 man midfield for 60 mins.

We do seem to suffer from injuries more than others - 7 not available at this stage of the season is really concerning

Having said that - hughes needs to go for it because a defensive approach won't work - we will get torn apart

If dyer is fit I would start with him at right back because dealing with bale will need someone with pace - onuoha is too cumbersome

Hopefully bosingwa has enough about him to deal with Lennon

1) This is why I've been wondering why so many posters on here rekon we'll get a result on Sunday- we're already down to bare bones at the back- we'll do incredibly well to get a point.

2) M'bia IS INJURY PRONE- has never managed more than 30 games in a season and can rarely do 2 in quick succession

Rather have Onuoha next to Nelsen and play young Ehmer at FB. Hill and Nelsen against Defoe, Bale and Lennon is going to be horrific.
