  • Football Supporter Map of London

Came across this today. Is it obvious or are there any surprises here?

That map is based on a book that is very old (published early 80's or even late 70's). Would be interesting to have an up-to-date version based on club members' post-codes.

The picture says latest version 2010-04 in the bottom right hand corner.

Good point and AFC Wimbledon didn't exist and Dagenham weren't in the league when the Soccer Tribe was first published so it must have been updated. Not clear though whether it's based on guesswork, anedotal evidence or something else. I wonder how they decide which fans are 'glory hunters'?

Chelsea the best supported team in Brent???????????????????????.are they having a laugh???????????????????.ive lived in brent my whole life( 26yrs),and in my time it's always been arsenal, spurs, qpr, chelscum,in that order.theyve got them in harrow aswell with the goons, again Harrow is in the same order as Brent.

I'd suggest 80% of fans of London clubs live at least 5 miles from the ground making these maps completely cobblers

I work in Bexley and we have a lot of Millwall fans around -- certainly as many as Charlton. Also, the glory teams have a lot of fans round there.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I live in a remote part of Devon in a quiet estate, apart from a Coventry fan there is actually 3 Rangers fans living here, does that make Rousdon a Rangers stronghold

Quite mixed here in croydon although like vespa says there are quite a few pockets of chelsea and even a few pubs. Lots of local support for palace though.

In the Gloucester are we have 5 season ticket holders and another 5 that go occasionally - does that make Glouceter an offshoot of Sheperds Bush
