Scored for absolute fun in holland (20 goals in 23 games) and was linked to Newcastle and Sunderland in the summer

20 in 23 aint a bad return whatever standard of league your in. Cant be too shabby, certainly seems to know where the net is. Sparkie would obviously know him fromhis City stint and if he rates him then thats good enough for me.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Not sure why you would say that, this kid is rated as one of the top under 21 players in Europe. As others have also said on this post though, it is probably just tabloid tosh!

Please god I hope this is true, this lad is one for the future! Scores for fun and City have been developing him very carefully, they obviously rate him

How does this loan business work then; can we put a deposit down and book him as it were, or is it a case of having to wait for the window to open and then competing with all comers for him?

Presumably even if we come to an arrangement with City, can it be binding?

Would certainly be handy cover but I'd imagine if it's to be a loan then City will want guaranteed playing time for the lad that we can't offer.

On a perm, well he certainly took the Dutch league by storm.

guys - yes it would be handy and yes i would gladly take it but it's just the media.

AJ is out - therefore the club MUST be looking for a replacement?! for a start...why?
Then the obvious choice is looking at MH former teams - Fulham...well we bought their last ones, and clint's gone too. so no stories there
                    Blackburn? move on
so it must be City...who can we make up as a believable plot would go to QPR...well how about this kid on loan...

                    it's just pure fabrication.

Oh, I wish... He could be just what we need for the future.

I would really like to know how the Swedish fans on here rate him ATM.

He's not included in our 25 man squad anyway so he cannot play until Jan anyway.

Fair enough mate, wasn't aware that there were question marks over his attitude. It is also worth bearing in mind these sorts of things can be worked on though. A certain Mr Robin van Persie joined Arsenal as a 21 year old with potential but a reputation of having a bad attitude..........8 years on you would have to say that they got their monies worth!
