Contrary to belief, if the right striker comes along we will go for him.

A prem fringe player like Jay Simpson should be good enough for us, however, I still think we also need to take a longer term view and gamble on Simeon Jackson. he won't cost the world like Beckford but could easily turn into a good investment.
I'd go with a begging bowl to Arsene Wenger for the young Mexican boy Carlos Vela .... The lads been on fire for the gooners in pre-season, he'd be just the right tonic for QPR, how desperate are we for a real target man? I'm on the LSA coach 2morow Pete, hope to see you mate

Interesting re Hamman, he was on TV over weekend, cant remember which prog, but said that he wants to stay in England and prefer to stay in prem, but would be interested in dropping down a division to an ambitious club! Is that us? Would add experience but yet another midfielder.
