Like him as a player, but wasn't sure about him as a captain. Proved his class standing behind his team-mate like that though, nice one.

I thought Park also put in a captains performance on Saturday. He lead by example and when he lost the ball he always tried to win it back. He's impressed me and it's great seeing him playing for QPR

I've not found one. Park comes across as a Mr. Nice guy and i'm sure he is, but I have to admit, I was a bit surprised to read that he snubbed Terry twice. If he did then I think that is absolutely class!! Top man!

Well said. Joey was a poor choice for captain, regardless of his football ability. We had a poll a while back and I said Park would be captain - he should be. It makes me laugh how some people talk about him as an Asian Shirt Seller - that is a daft myth, he plays good football and won't sell many QPR shirts.

He is an Asian shirt seller, but he's also a bloody good footballer that improves our team immensely.... i'd say that's a win win.

And i beg to differ about him not selling many QPR shirts... he will sell loads. It's been stated by many Korean that they follow him, not whatever club he's at. While he's with us they will flock to buy his shirt no question. Also if you read the quotes of our latest sponsor in Asia, Nexon (i think), I think its clear reading between the lines they are mainly on board because JSP is here.

AC whatever you think of him had little choice but to go to court (he was summoned) but Park, Zammora et seq werent at the club. So if your saying Park is class by refusing to shake hands in effect your condeming those that did shake hands.

your comments are totally fair but if it was one of your mates, work colleagues, relatives, etc, you would stand by them. I don't think we should condemn the ones who did shake hands. This has been made into a bigger deal than was necessary and that would make it worse. don't think Anton feels let down by the ones who did shake hands. Loyalty is very important and JSP's attitude and mentality is one of loyalty, honour and respect. He wouldn't have been so important to Ferguson for so long if he didn't have those qualities as well as being a top class player. He sets an example to other players and as other comments have expressed, he's everything Barton wasn't, THANKFULLY
