  • Stewards today...

Disgraceful today.... this time taking down QPR flags in the Upper Loft... I watched in utter amazement/shock as this happened. I can perhaps understand if they're covering advertising etc, but these were covering plain white boards... what's the issue FFS?!

Are they seriously saying we can't have QPR flags on show at the home of QPR?!?!? It was embarrassing to be honest.

Stewards and the company employing the stewards do whatever they like with no care for the fans, it's shocking and someone needs to look into it.

It was utter madness, wtf is going on,they were saying your not allowed to have flags in the ground. This needs to be taken up with the club, when we go to sh*t bridge, emerates, old trafford etc the grounnds are awash with flags, its embarressing.

had a moan at stewards about people standing up in paddock blocking my view... 'no point in saying anything..they'll only do it again'. reassuring eh?

Something needs to be done because they're taking big parts of the enjoyment of going to games away. For some reason they seem to think they can treat fans with contempt and talk to them like they're criminals- who gave them the right to do this?

As I said earlier, the ongoing issue with stewards and in particular the incident with the flag earlier needs to be raised with the club through the LSA etc.

Tony Fernandes tweeted that he has no problems with flags in the ground and putting them up. However he was unsure whether the fa allow this so he is speaking with Phil.

got pretty annoyed with the stewards who turned up at the top of r block and stood all the way up the steps, seemed to be doing a lot of pointless staring at people and were distracting people from being able to watch the game. their arrival seemed to achieve very little and didnt serve much of a purpose.

What do you expect at a match of this significance? People will always stand as we approach the opposition penalty area and for corners, free kicks etc etc.

I know that sometimes people standing in front of you can be a tad annoying but to moan to stewards about it is not the answer. Perhaps a seat in the upper tier would suit you better?

Football is a passionate game and tensions run high and when this is the case most people stand, especially when so close to the action as you are in the Paddocks. Can't really see what your point is?
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Makes you wonder exactly what sort of people want to become stewards.
Agree with everyone though, TF needs to get those *****s to realise we are paying customers, paying an awful lot of money not just for tickets, but merchandise too.
Seems to me, would be madness if thickos working as stewards put fans off from coming to Loftus Rd.

i wrote on here last season about a big african steward throwing his weight about in the paddocks , i wrote to jenny at the club she sent back a lame letter full of excuses . this steward was pushung kids celebrating a goal in a night match he was warned by a number of fans to back off . i have not seen him this season so maybe the letter did some good. i cant see how flags hurt anyone its just something for these £6 an hour mugbreaths to moan about

Of course people do stand when we get close to their box. But when they are still standing 5 minutes later after every attack then I think I have a point.

its not a great job so the answer is mainly people that really really need the money

There are certainly a few that like to throw their weight around but the ones i mainly come into contact with in JU tend to be reasonable and try to be as invisible as possible during the game.
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

Always astounds me that they tell you not to block the aisle by standing in it. Then go and block the aisle by standing in it themselves. Ok I'll hold my hands up and say people shouldn't be standing in the aisle( and i wasn't by the way) but it seems to be a futile to clear them of fans and then block them with stewards!

Write to the club - they need to explain it.

If we need to petition the club - many here will email etc. I will and I have over 25,000 email accounts.
