He had a cracker of a game, really stepped up to the plate under alot of pressure. I can't remember being seeing such a composed performance, a worlds difference to the Swansea game. I had soo much fun at the game today, might have helped I won some amazing hospitality and some some directors box seats... they have leg room!!

If you look at the poll from yesterday, it just shows how knee-jerk a lot of opinions are.

Massive credit to Anton today. As said by others he didn't put a foot wrong and looked very acomplished at eh back, especially under such spotlight. Well doine Anton, i doubted your ability to remain focused but i was wrong.

I must throw into the mix that much of the credit for an improved Anton may be down to the leading example and qualites of Nelsen alongside him. He will keep him in check.

Credit where credit is due, a fantastic performance from Anton today.

Although Ferdinand had a good game i think a lot of credit has to go to Faurlin and Nelson who both gave him a lot of pretection

dont agree. if you are looking for a rock then ferdinand isn't your man. he is the glen roeder/ terry fenwick type defender who plays alongside the rock, or the centre half.

Can't hurt Anton's confidence that he knows he's got Julio f*cking Cesar right behind him.

Totally agree with OP - superb performance from Anton, really stepped up today.

Probably the confidence a quality keeper installs.

Agreed....Very good performance....I am getting a little bored about all the non-handshake childishness though....Terry is a racist, he did do him wrong but everyone knows it so leave it in the past....time to move on and take the moral high ground.
