  • Club statement, re: fans behaviour

Good evening everyone, this is my first ever post, so please be kind to me.
I"m a little confused by the club"s message on the QPR official website regarding our behaviour at tomorrow's game against the scum. They say they are proud of the special atmosphere at Loftus Road, but then (IMO) they say that you can't give stick to the Chelshite players. So it's ok for certain players to get away with all sorts of things, but we are not allowed to direct any singing or chanting, regarding their misdemeanours at those particular players. What happened to the days when you could ridicule players for their misdemeanours and without the threat of arrest.

See this is why the atmosphere won't be anywhere near as good. Stewards will be throwing their weight around all over the shop, especially in r block and x block.

You say what you want, it just can't be discriminatory (e.g. racist, sexist, homophobic etc.) Nothing new.

The press are going to have their claws out, and the club quite rightly don't want the media to be digging us out yet again. I can see it now, after the aftermath of what happened at Hillsborough QPR fans showed themselves to be blah blah blah.

Can't blame the club for trying.

All part and parcel of life in 21st century England, I'm afraid.
You can be controversial, but only mildly. Very mildly.
Don't want to go upsetting old, overpaid, over rated, Chelshyte players now, do we?

This, its nothing new, u can sign you can boo, you can make a hostile atmosphere. But you can be racist, sexist, homophobic or sing direct hatred / viloent abuse at the chelsea players.

The rules have not cnnaged,t he club is just reminding the fans of them in order to there bit to keep control and avoid any incidents.

It will all end in tears if the supporters donīt behave today. What if we win and the points will be taken from us due to the behaviour of only a few.
