I got memberships this season for me and my nearly 7 year old. WE'll prob only get to take in a few games, but it's worth it as he gets free tickets, and we'll be able to get seats in the family stand.
AS for standard memberships if you plan on trying to get to a number of games then i would def get a membership to give yourself a decent chance of tickets.

Members chances of tickets are improved but still hard to get them. Big games are deffo hard to get hold off!
unless your getting it with the sole intention of paying £40 for the membership pack i cant recommend one enough.

As for away games, i done quite well last season with my membership and it'll be easier this season because the demand has dropped after our first season going to the big games.

I live in Kuwait and make trips to London every season to attend some games so membership is worthwhile for me. The only worry is getting tickets for away games as it depends on loaylty points. Last season I used my friend's ST to travel to Wolves. This season I am planning to go to WBA and hope I get a ticket. I am planning to sit with the home fans for the Arsenal away game as I know I won't be able to get a ticket with QPR fans. My friend who is an Arsenal fan will be with me.Last edited by Yousef; 12-09-2012, 08:14 AM.QPR fan since1987

for £40 you get a shiny membership card which they load your match ticket onto, £5 ticket discount when it's members' presale, a £10 off club store voucher (provided you spend over £50) and some pack or other which has yet to materialise and will contain a number of things you don't really need:
a washbag (i already have several)
a baseball cap (see above)
keyring and badge set (see above)
window scarf (see above)
pen (see above)
a membership card wallet (bodugi give qpr ones to you free outside games)
however i found being a member useful in getting tickets last year and didn't struggle to get a ticket at all. oh and i get a warm fuzzy feeling about the fact that it's one way to (modestly) support my club too.come on you r's!

Rubbish I'd say if you plan on going away games, will be alright for most as we won't sell out but for big games or the London games you will struggle. I got one this year but have to rely on a season ticket holder getting me a ticket As it doesn't go on sale to members until about two weeks after going on sale to season ticket holders. Got rewarded 20 extra points for doing over ten away last year but it's worthless unless you have a season ticketThis isnt just goodbye, this is i cant stand you!
