From everything I have heard from Amit, whether in interviews or PR stuff he's done, he is not going anywhere and Lakshmi is more than happy with the current situation. I'm not sure what has gone on that would change that, have the main media picked up on this story yet? I'm sure when that happens the club will issue a statement.

From scouting the internet, most people seem to be of the opinion this is all leftover stuff from when the chuckle brothers were in charge.

I haven't sensed any power struggle myself, quite the opposite in fact, they seem to work very well and contently with eachother. Also, if the Mittlas were that desperate for power, they could've donw it before TF even came on board.

Didn´t they try to buy a larger stake of the shares than they were eventually offered?The number of the excact percentages escapes me now. But since then I feel that The Mittals have taken quite a backseat. It could be a coincidence or they could even have given Fernades the role as the official spokesman but nevertheless I feel something is wrong, but that my take at it..

I agree with Matty, although not sure if acricketer was being sarcastic or not. Everything I've read/seen from Amit seems to say that they are investing based on their share of the club. So that's 33/34% or something?

I am of the opinion that they may actually be at the club longer than Tony, and that maybe Amit will be chairman one day.

Oops, and let's not forget they refinanced the loans left by Tango and Cash and gave us interest free loans instead. That alone is worthy of much respect.
