Would have been good to have him back in top form, we really need him. But the most important thing now is that he is been taken care of in the best possibly way. I´ll wish him a speedy recovery, that´s for sure.

Can really see a story like this helping Diakite's situation if true, toilet rag of a paper.
Agree 100%. The behaviour of both has been despicable.

If so could he be in grieving and the whole depression thing has come from a few drama queens on the stadium concourse at the etihed which has ended up in the national press as a consequence

Clinical depression is a mental illness and can stop a person from getting out of bed in the morning or even losing the will to live. Unhappiness is a state of mind that sometimes get misdiagnosed as clinical depression by inexperienced or poor G.P's. Over 35 million prescriptions a year are given out for clinical depression in this country alone!! according to some expert i just heard on the radio. If he is mentally ill then it may take a while for a cure so lets hope its just unhappiness or sadness caused by an event in his life and he hurrys up and gets over it. Time will tell i spose.

You could be spot on , W12_Ranger. That´s how the press works, and we should have known that by now. No need to feed them.

On another note, I hope the papers have not just made this up. Such a sensitive subject.

Correct me if I'm wrong but has there been any official statement regarding his mental illness from anyone at the club? Or are the daily fail basing this article on pure gossip?

First and formost the club and supporters should give him all the support he needs, but i hope when he is well he dosen't do a Clarke Carlile and leave as soon as he is better after all the support QPR gave him he said i want to go bank up north and ended half way In the Midland and back in the South later.

Money has nothing to do with depression, hre lots of people with shed loads of money depressed and lonley they end up in clinics.

Sparky metioned it in an interview a few days back. But mental illness was not how he worded it. He mentioned a depression, I think.

You'll be crying a river if you ever got clinically depressed...... that's for sure!

And it can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time despite ones "fortunate" circumstances in life for example.

The human brain is a powerful thing...... and when the chemicals that make it work go out of kilter......
