Liverpool seem to be falling to pieces at the moment under Rodgers, do you guys think there is a chance they could get relegated and if so would you love it to be us who sent them down?

They have had a slow start (as usual), but they are LIVERPOOL! No chance of them getting relegated! They will most likely finish somewhere in the top 7 this season. Would love it if they were a win away from reaching the top 4, but then we go to Anfield and spoil the party; That would be more realistic!Last edited by SuperHoopNik; 03-09-2012, 08:01 PM."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

No chance. I think he will be a good manager in time. I don't beleive in the Swansalona thing as they did a lot of the passing in their own half, but he was limited by the squad. However, I think he needs to really start from scratch if he wants to play a passing game even as good as Arsenals has been, let alone Barcelona's, which is what he strives towards. He needs time and backing. At the start of the season I think I said they would finish 7th, but with AVB at Spurs it may be 6th.

Laudrup has a better footballing philosophy than Rodgers anyway, Now you can probably call Swansea 'Swansealona'. Neat passing in the oppositions half instead of theirs and better tactics. The Rodgers thing will soon kick in at Liverpool and before you know it, they'll have the ball in their own half for about 89 minutes each match and they will be dubbed the Scouse Barca or something like that by stupid journo's and 'experts'."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Back in the real world give Man City a proper game far to early in the season to pass judgement otherwise its fair to say we look like dead certs to go down

No chance! They are playing well, just not getting the results. I've seen the last two games and they deserved to win against MC. Close call against Arsenal really but loosing 0-2 wasn't what the game looked like.
I'm quite sure Pool are doing the correct thing switching to a manager who actually WANTS to play modern football. It will take some time but Liverpool we become a different type of team from now. The worst thing would be if fans already gets on Rodgers back....hmmmm, where have I've heard that before?Last edited by erikmata; 03-09-2012, 09:05 PM.

As much as I think it would be fantastic for English football for Liverpool to go down, it will never happen. Rodgers will be sacked if they are anywhere near the bottom 3 at Christmas. Hell, there's chances he would literally get killed.
I'm sure Liverpool will be fine though, although not surprised at all they are struggling to finish teams off. Was the same as last season though. Liverpool and centre forwards is like QPR and centre halves. There must have been a discount on midfielders this summer, every club bought a staggering amount!

Dont think they'll go down but would love to see it that would be meltdown! They'd all be whinging and want relegation abolished which they've touched on before, plus it would really give all these so called BIG clubs a wake up call on what can happen as they beleive it will never happen to them.
