Part of a post from a ManC fan on Not606.

'...... Just had to mention the QPR fans in the Lass O'Gowrie pub in Manchester, prior to the match on Saturday. What a fantastic set of fans. Spent a couple of hours in the pub and every single one of them were brilliant. They were a credit to the club and it was a pleasure to be in their company.
I wish you all the best for this and future seasons'.

See, not everyone hates us after all; recognise anyone here from that description?

Every trip to Manchester is not complete without a night in the Lass. Great Rangers get togethers in there and always a good crack

Doubt they'd have been so nice about our fans had they lost, or even drawn against us.
Its amazing how a win can make the oppo fans seem......well, ok!

While wandering around outside the stands, I gave away my Sammy Nasri poster which came free with the programme to the mum of this small boy. He was ecstatic, For a mo I thought we were about to swop shirts.
They are a proper family club with good supporters and a great stadium.

think I am a bit actually......but its got to be kind of true doesn't it. Everything and everyone appears a lot rosier after a win.

Perhaps, but I don't remember seeing comments in that spirit from fans of any of the many clubs who beat us last season (some twice!), except perhaps those laced with irony vitriol acid and other noxious ingredients.
No danger of you accepting sweets from a stranger I'd wager....Lol

Rocking as per usual before the game BUT only about 10 of us in there after the game.........

A City fan even gave me a lift home after the game last year from the Lass O'gowrie ...... Well when I say he gave me a lift, he phoned his wife to pick us up about 10 O'clock when my legs were full of Cider

                Long live the love-in
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

I had a hand shake and a chat with the Citeh fans from the video of last years game ( still available on Youtube ) as we were sitting in roughly the same place as before BUT when the game started there were loads of t-wats behind them trying to large it , funnily enough they were getting more irate when I blew them kisses and made hug actions ............... the love-in could be in trouble :TT-TT: I feel a visit to the brief for advice on the up coming divorce

It's hardly surprising there's a bit of friendship between our two clubs because we're similar in many respects. Both of us got relegated from the EPL in 1996. Both of us have had to put up with our hated neighbours winning loads of trophies. Both of us got relegated to the third tier of English football. Both are now back in the top league. Both now have wealthy owners.

I don't begrudge City winning the league and doing well. After what they've been through they deserve their success. I hope we can follow in their footsteps with a new stadium and some trophies.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

fans are also fickle. what happens now or in the past can change over no time due to a bad tackle etc. loved my last day at theirs-mad day/weekend-and they are a good set of fans. them over utd or those c@nts down the road any day. although a bigger club their recent history does mirror ours and even a small percentage of what they have got will be massive. u rsss.

Man City fans have got a lot of nice things to say about QPR (This was before last game of the season) because of Onuoha, SWP & kinda Barton. I think they're a great bunch & the only OTHER club in the Premier League I like a lot
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes
