"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

I just hope if it starts to unravel the powers that be are as focussed as they were when they got rid of NW. That was the right decision. I hope they don't have to repeat it, but I would get it 100% if they did. Personally I would have ditched him on the day we stayed up. There. I've said it.

Hughes sides aren't known for this approach, it isn't so much the physicality as a lack of imagination and tactical suss that I can't stand. IMO he's also messed up badly in a number of areas since he took up the reins, I wont list them again. What City hated about Hughes more than anything was his brand of football.

He did appoint him though, and for now stability is important. Come the end of the season, we'll see where we stand I guess. I'm just hopeful we may see something better within the next few months, we've got some really exciting players in the squad. We've just got to hope Hughes can get the best of them.
I'm not even contemplating relegation just yet, but after Phil Beard's comments the other day they seem like they will act if need be.
