Obviously not, classic 'Fantasy Island' attention seeking.
Just needed some ITK on his replacement coming from AC Milan in January to put the cherry on top!

Probably one of you're worst ever posts- and there's been a few.

So Knocker, Hammersmith and Isleworth after posting these rumours or backing them up in the post are you actually going to back up these claims with some evidence. Suggest this keeps getting bumped up to the until they do

What an ignorant bunch of c**** on the message board. Depression is not something that is linked to material things, it is a state of mind. You could be hugh heffner with millions and 19 yo miss-worlds around you and still be depressed. It is not something that can be fixed easily, or something he can"snap-out" of. He needs proper medical care.

There are things more important than football, and i think being in the spotlight of the epl is not what someone with a mental illness needs in order to recover. He is a top player and he has an amazing first touch and impressive power, but if he needs time away to sort himself out then i dont think anyone should criticise him for this. Fernandes and co are business men, i am sure they have adequate insurance in place for events like this.

a very good friend of mine is currently suffering from depression quite severely. it's not something to be dismissed, as many people do.

W12 is probably sitting back smiling from ear to ear at the bites he got on that post. anything to be a bit controversial eh?

Some of the posters on here should go on Loose Women with the amount they love to gossip and s*** stir.

And now these issues have raised their head again? Should we as a club have done that? Did the club give him a proper medical? I don't know. It's all rather sad as he has the potential to be a top player for us. I have no idea what his exact issues are, but it could be family issues? Can they move over to London? Civil war in his own country?

I hope he gets the help that he needs and we see him back playing for us.
With respect you are not simply relaying what you were told because you haven't told us what you have heard! There has indeed been rumours flying around for a while that he has mental issues. The nudge, nudge wink wink has been that this is more than merely depression but I for one have not been able to get any handle on what precisely this is. Were you told and if so would you like to share it with us? If it is true that it is something considerably more serious than depression - and that can be debilitating enough - there are indeed questions about his future, but I hope everyone in this supposedly enlightened age will show him understanding and support to try to get through this.

All you can do is be there for him/her,NOBODY knows what goes through the mind of someone suffering from depression, its one of the worst illness going, and if DS has bipolar he should get all the support QPR can give him,and given time he could still play a big part for us.

Absolutely! Everyone who has added something to this thread should pop out to water stones today and pick up A copy of A life too short - the biography of Robert Enke the German goalkeeper who threw himself under a train after a long battle with depression..read it and then have some perspective before posting about things they may or may not have heard from a mate who may or may not have heard something from an ex player etc etc
