Maybe someone might fall ill. Maybe they were worried about Man city spies finding out who was playing, lol... Maybe Hughes hadn't made his mind up yet and wanted more options. Then when they weren't needed maybe they were told they could go early since they're also on international duty.Comment

No I know Silver but footballers always travel together, so why would they travel back on their own, if they weren't needed and were given permission by Sparky to leave for International duty would he have taken them in the first place? That doesn't make sense. If you're only taking your starting eleven plus seven subs how come we had the full quota of 18 for the match yesterday AFTER those two supposedly buggered off? And what would happen if a player was unfit the next morning? The team travelled to Manchester on Friday and a player could have been taken ill for whatever reason.
