    surprise to see him start

i thought he had a good game and made his presence felt, hopeful once he get a few more games under his belt we will see the best of him. he will definitely benefit playing with better players

He looked a little bit slow, but otherwise was good to see him.

Your definition of good must differ from mine considerably. He was totally anonymous. I agree he is not match fit, but to say he played "good" is quite beyond me.

Faurlin made the most passes of any QPR player in the first half.

Dunno what game you were watching but he certainly wasn't anonymous.

How many was that? 3? 4? How many of them were telling passes? How many played someone through? How many split the defence?

Number of passes is a completely misleading statistic. I would rather have a player that makes 4 passes, 2 of which are defence splitting, than someone who makes 40 passes, all of which are 5 or 10 yards to the next player.

i thought he done well under the circumstances, having not played much for ages so bound to be a bit off the pace at times but ball retention was still good & linked up quite well with granero. once ali is fit, himself & granero will pass teams to death. Marshy youre just talking drivel in every post youve made,do us a favour & do one.

didnt think he was great to be honest but think we look so much better with him and Granero in the centre able to actually keep the ball for more than one second, would rather midielders who can consistently pass and so we dont just kill ourselves chassing the ball down and not get picked apart by another teams passing while our players are out of position from chasing the ball down

so you would rather keep going for a killer pass, probably lose possesion more often than not to players of toure, silvas class than keep hold of the ball till a better opportunity arises?

Yes, he did good under the circumstances. That is not the same as saying he had a good game. So I think you're the one talking drivel. I bet you're one of those fans who changed opinions about players after each game, where someone always either does great or rubbish.

Would I rather have someone who tries killer passes and sometimes loses possession than someone who always passes it simple and doesn't lose possession. Yes, I would. In a team of 11, you cannot have all 11 players who never try the audicious. Look at Silva, he lost the ball many times today, but at least he is always looking to play that ball through, and many times he does.

Looks as though Mark fancies a half fit Faurlin than other options, looking forward to him being 100% soon

So would you rather Barton last season over a player who keeps the ball, passing to other team mates?

so how exactly did he have a poor game then? would you have gone for derry instead ?as without diakite we were quite thin on the ground for c'ms today. if a player does have a bad game,my opinion doesnt change every game, form is temporary, class is permanent.
