Something tell me Mark Hughes wont be dropping Ferdinand in a hurry.

Ferdinand and Hill are CLEARLY not good enough so we are left with Nelsen, Onuoha and Mbia for centre-back.

I'm hoping and I think it should be Nelsen and Mbia in the back four against Chelsea .

Always defended Anton but tbh Im starting to lose confidence in him big time - was awful yesterday. Agree Nelsom & Mbia would be my preferred choice. Anton just seems to switch off and we cannot afford that at this level.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Last night Hughes should have taken him off. He couldnīt run properly after he got injured. It did cost us their second goal,IMO.

Mbia has been bought to play CB with Nelsen with Anton and Clint as back up. Onuaha will cover for Bosingwa and Traore for Fabio.

AF looked okay last season only because he was the 'best of a bad lot' Even if you are sh** at what you do, if everyone else around is worse, you can look good by comparison, Sadly this is the case for AF
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I don't blame Anton for any limitations. Shocking management and lack of guidance exposed him re JT case which really didn't help him, never mind the last minute super market dash to find a CB.

                        Don't blame him.

It's still his fault, because he should have said that he couldn't carry on and Onuoha would have come on earlier.
Agreed. But I did notice that he wanted to be taken off just a minute before the goal. But thatīs history now.

Again and for the umtiemfed time, the bloke couldnīt run because of his injured shoulder. But as other posters imply; he is a ballwatcher only and not good enough by far.
