Haha.... an article with one quote from over a year ago! it's a crock of s**t by a useless journalist writing for an awful paper. We'll need to get used to it though as the more successful we become, the more people will be looking to take a swipe at us.

    JUST IGNORE IT.

      Rubbish.
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Hang on, are you saying that the Daily Mail isn't a fear mongering piece-of-s**t rag?

          Well said.

If people care to read the article it states "We had the conversation when things got very difficult" said Bhatia., which indiactes to me this was a while back, and we all know he stepped down and had issues way back when. As Loopy says, he is constantly going on about our future and how positive it is. I wouldnt worry about that $hitrags articles tbh.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Amit text in 10 seconds before deadline last night on SSN, text read "Thank god it's over now".

Just because you don't hear to much regarding Amit, don't mean he is leaving. I think he is playing a bigger part now than he ever was.

An old quote taken out of context.

                Yes, it's the Daily Mail.

Was he referring to the window shutting or leaving the club

Some fans will jump on a report like that and take it as gospel, others will dismiss it out of hand because they don't want to believe it. Matty is right that the quote did seem to refer to a period in the past but a) whatever you think of the Mail (I hate it), Charlie Sale is a v well plugged in reporter and b) there is v little transparency in our boardroom (in common with most clubs sadly) and we don't have very much of an idea how the mittel/ fernandez partnership will pan out and whether they share the same strategy/ goals/ enthusiasm. I'm optimistic, but it wd be blinkered to assume with big egos and big money involved its all going to run smoothly for ever more...

who on earth doesn't need convincing to throw their money into a football club in the most competitive league in the world. i certainly wouldn't chuck £100m at QPR for the sake of it, i'd have to look at the business plan - understand where the club is going, understand the potential rewards, understand how long it would take to make my money back.
obviously they needed convincing. but they've done it. move on.

as for the daily mail and how true it is...enjoy...

Got to love Dan and Dan.

Obviously Dan can be a bit of a primadonna but fame goes to people's heads so easily.

                                Comment from TF yesterday. I think this goes for newspapers to;

                                Tony Fernandes‏@tonyfernandes
Never understand why fans from other clubs just focus on their own clubs. And how on earth do they know our finances.
