Wont ever play for us again.

Best of luck Joey - shame it didnt work out here.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I think MH has an issue with the character that is JB - not the footballer, so don't see how he can change his mind from afar.

probably right as i fear once on Hughes's bad side you stay there
I hear Adel may also have had a falling out as well so lets see if that affects his standing

I actually like him a lot, but his bizarre way of using twitter mostly to provoke made him in the end too much of an attention seeker for my liking.
It´s sad to see him gone, but I think it will do him good.

Bottomline for me; Best of luck to Joy Barton, the fotballer.

so its just his sending off against Man City that has caused the vitriol and abuse from some fans toward there own player and then club captain? If Joey hadn't swung an elbow at Tevez who over reacted then he wouldnt get the abuse he has been getting? dont think so.. what other behaviour are you referring to while at QPR that has got people so riled up? did he throw a paddy at half time and storm off to get a bus home? did he not just stand there and take abuse directed at him and his missus while at a nightclub one night?

Imagine what that would be like full and if he was playing well?

I can't stand the geezer but fair do's to him he has a last chance (however, am sure if he managed to c0ck this up then he'd end up at Elland Rd) to end his career on some sort of positive note.....
Yeah but think about it, toninght away at man city, whole world watching , hes probably preparing for an away game at Nancy, with 10000 watching.

I'm wondering what he actually did at QPR which makes him so deserving of undying support and love from a few on here?........

Well for one he was a Rangers player and wore the shirt so that at least should buy him so loyalty from supposed QPR fans.
A few poor performances in a poor performing side doesnt deserve the abuse he got from his own fans on MB's/twitter/in the street. So if its nothing to do with what he done while a QPR player then what is it? is it the media constantly dragging up his past and turning him into some kind of evil anti-The Guardian type? If it is then you should all be ashamed to call yourselves supporters. While he was a QPR player and club captain he should have got your support and your loyalty and not the same vitriol and abuse that other teams fans give him. He did deserve the kick up the #### a few gave him at the Liverpool game and look how he responded. Think there is a new type of fan creeping into football and its not a pretty sight.

                          I wasn't having a pop at you son...it was a serious question.

I never gave a s**t about Joeys past and I definitely had no problem with him slapping that little c**k Tevez......all I ever wanted was him to shut the f**k up and put in top performances for us.....and on that one area I cared about....on the whole, he failed.

Yet, the same old fans keep talking him up.......its almost as if it has got f**k all to actually do with supporting Joey Barton and is a means of 'kicking back' at a type of politically correct fan which you have no time for.

To be accurate I dont think its just the new ones Vblock, I've seen quite a few life-long older R's on here also wanting shot of him. For the record I'm fairly neutral on the matter, but one thing you can never say about Joey is that he's not controversial and doesn't divide opinion.

I think that if Fred West or Peter Sutcliffe were turning out for us in the hoops then there would be some (like this Vblock chap) who would support them come what may.... Just because a player wears the hoops and is club Capt this (IMO) should not guarantee them fans' undying support... Let's be honest Joey Barton's tenure whilst at QPR has been a circus and not very successful to say the least... Support and or respect has to be earned... For me Joey Barton is vermin and always will be... It's inherent and very much part of his personality to be an attention seeker/controversial character and I can't see him doing much for a sustained period over in France... Who can forget his rather flattering remarks about Adel's 'genius' and giving Jamie Mackie the w@nker sign on the pitch... I bet Joey really galvanised the dressing room and was about as popular as a fart in a spacesuit... Some people on here seem to take any form of criticism directed at players as some sort of personal slight and are like dogs with a bone....

Let it go FFS the geezer is nowhere near good enough either on or off the pitch and is always on the verge of embarrassing himself and or the club... I dare say he'll have a book out within a year to 18months so all of his gang can go out and buy it for their Joey fix when he's not at Rangers anymore....
