Having watched a few Granero videos on you tube this guy is seriously a class act. He seems to play in a floating role which to me indicates Taraabts place is now in serious jeaopardy. I hope he really knuckles down now because competition for places will be really tough. Losing your place in the team through injury or form could make it very difficult to get back in the team. Hope this is your wake up call Adel to up your game.

At the moment I feel like im in some kind of amazing dream here. How can my little old QPR be getting players I/we could never dream about. I've spent 3 hours sat trying to pick our best team and i just can't do it. And if we get Carvalho/Dawson/Mbia its gonna be even harder. Just watched quite a few Cesar vids and i just never realised he was that good. Fark me what a keeper. Mark Hughes is gonna have one serious headache trying to pick our best team for sure and i don't envy him one bit. But the one thing that really stands out now is we have quality cover all over the pitch so if and when we pick up a few injuries and the African Cup starts weve got great quality to step in and we will still have a strong team.

Before the last few signings i thought we could squeak into the top ten but now i seriously think we could be knocking on the door for a European place. I know some on here will think thats a crazy statement but ffs Foolham and Stoke did it with squads nowhere near as good as what we have now. Having said that i still think we will be bottom or thereabouts after the next 3 games. Mainly because of the quality of opposition in those 3 games and also the fact we need to gel faster than super glue setting to have any realistic chance of getting points from those games. But after that i can see us really climbing the table with the quality we have now.

On a more sombre note the Trouble n Strife has booked us on a short break to Belgium on saturday and im livid cos the Ferry leaves at the same time as we kick off against Citeh. Does anyone know if the ferries have Sky/Espn? If not im gonna be pacing the decks of that bloody ship not knowing how the match is going.

It all depends how long it will take for our players to gel. Mark Hughes has got to make sure he picks the right players and adopts the right tactics. Fingers crossed we can get a quality centre-back in before tomorrow night

Taarabt needs to perform when he does get the chance, because if he loses his place he might have to wait for an injury/suspension to get it back, the competition is that fierce now. We all know he has the talent, he has to produce and quickly or he will find it difficult to get a look in, and I'm a big fan of his. I do think he will be a revelation though.

do find it funny that certain posters seem to have junior hoilet down as an automatic choice after two (very indifferent) games. Away I cd also see Zamora playing alone ahead of a couple of attacking midfielders with Cisse coming on later in games. Its all about the squad now. There are so many different permutations - and many of them include Adel.

I have been one of the biggest advocates of Adel playing behind a striker, but after seeing the Swansea and Norwich games, Bobby Zamora is better in that position for holding he ball up and linking the midfield with who ever is up top. People use tippy tappy passing stats to justify why Adel should start, but 88 shots, 2 goals with a couple of assists from a creative midfielder is **** poor in the PL and in some teams, may not even justify getting in the 25. For me, its a straight fight between Adel and Hoilett (who has been poo) on the left and they will be plenyy of people with their egos out of joint in the coming months, not just Adel.

Anyway, as I support QPR FC and not any individual player, I don't give a flying **** who plays, where they play or how we play as a team, its all about points for me.

Its fun picking teams, but seldom will any two people pick the same team, tactics and subs, yet we all watch the same games.

Seems to be some debate about that. Mourinho says he is best in a diamond formation and from the clips I've seen that looks to be at the more attacking point of it. Dont claim to be any kind of expert on Spanish football so might be completely wrong but if he is a centre midfielder he appears to be quite an attacking one.

Adel behind Cisse didnt work at all, made Cisse totally ineffective and forced him to play with his back to goal which he doesnt do very well, he needs to play off the last man. For me, Adel behind Zamora as a lone target man could work a treat in certain games, with a solid 4 man midfield of, say, Park Granero Faurlin Hoilet, with Tarbs in front to play off of Zamora.

I would rather train adel in that position than play a player who is near the end of his career. Taraabt is our future to have him not play most games would be a mistake. He needs expirience in that role. If adel can stay forward and not come to deep there is nobody better in our team to do this.
