From reading that the JB deal is very much tied up with Mbia to us, now just being pedantic the French official didn't say there was no fee agreed he said there was no agreement which could be that they have to agree everything with jb first to trigger our deal

What's afp? Also where is there a link to the site whatever goal is not exactly reliable. Also I'm pretty sure a player would not come out and say I have chosen to join qpr over another team when a fee has not even been agreed lol.

Mbia has his heart set on signing for us. Would be a crime if it didn't happen
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

It all depends on Barton agreeing to go there, which looks like he will. If he doesn't then we will have to pay a bit more for mbia. That's why its not finalised

This is where the source is and it says the same as we had assumed, that it is tied up with JB going the other way. JB is still on Marseille so assume that discussions are still taking place. At least it sounds like the club and Marseille are on the same page.

Think that is probably right. And the official is also right - there is no deal until personal terms are agreed. There is bound to be a bit of brinkmanship on wages etc. On the positive, Joey wd look a right fool now if he turned down Marsailles after all that guff about his heart already being there etc - plus he doesn't have a lot of other options, unless he fancies a return to Fleetwood Town.
