  • Time for the fans to get behind team

    First post in a while.....

I was out of the country for the first game of the season but in the run up to that game i noticed a number of posters getting themselves into a frenzy about how many goals we were going to beat Swansea by.

I watched the game on tv from afar and have to say that i was extremely surprised about how well we played during the first 30 mins of that game. What happened after that happened but i did see enough in the first 30 mins to know that Mark Hughes made some good signings and they will come good. It will, however, take time for the team to gel. On that day though the condifence drained from the players.

Over the coming weeks we have a number of very difficult games. We will not be expected to win, but it will give the players a further chance to get to know each other. With a bit of luck we will pick up one or two unexpected points.

That said, it is very possible that we will lose all three games and the fans will once again be on the back of someone or other.

We need to cut the owners/manager some slack here and really get behind them. We have never had it as good at QPR. Don't mess it up.

Get behind Mark and the boys even if we lose the next three games and we will be rewarded for our support.

P.S. Do people still think i am connected to Paldini and Flavio or it fairly safe to assume that you accept me as a normal fan now ?

Good post mate and agree with everything.

We've never had it this good. If we all get behind this team we could do something pretty special.

            Agree with you mate.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
