That was a far better deal for Blackburn than for Rhodes IMO

They got Rhodes for their £8m.

We got Cesar, Green, Bosingwa, Nelsen, Fabio, Hoilett, Johnson, Park, Granero, and Diakite for our £8m

Yeah I thought he would have gone to a prem team, mind you those looking at him wouldn't/couldn't pay £8mill

Saw a quote from Mourinho saying he was fantastic in a diamond formation. begged the q whether he was the holding or attacking player. i assume attacking - is that right? suggests to me that hughes wants another go at 4-5-1 but wants someone from midfield to link up with Cisse who against the swans was 20/30 yards ahead of the midfield. prob a good idea long term. short term my worry is that if swansea are anything to go by, prem teams can just cut through us like we are water. with diakite going walk about, park more comfortable on the right and dear Shaun a bit long in the tooth we badly, badly need Faurlin back protecting the back four.

                    Where did you learn mathematics?
Diakite 3.5m, Park 1-2m, Granero 6.5 + whatever Hoilett's fee will be could be closer to 15m spent.

Don't know, where did you learn? Please go back so they can teach you the difference between arithmetic and mathematics

Main man meaning he was are only flair player last season ans he loves that
Hoilett has not exactly lived up to expectations so far and was very poor against Walsall. I wouldn't be surprised to see Taarabt back in the team soon if he doesn't improve. As for Taarabt being unhappy at not being the main man, I think he signed a new contract because of the big plans of Hughes and Fernandez which included big name signings and competition for places.

More likely for the reason that I think MH is trying to do a manC here, and wants to be the big boss doing squad rotation, where no-one will be sure if they're playing the next game or not.

I got my numbers from the chairman on his phone call to SSN tonight. Where did you get yours from?

TF clearly stated on there we've spent £8m this summer.

Agreed. Hoilett just looks a bit fat. And spent after about sixty minutes. To the disapointment of some, Adel could be back quite soon.
