  • FAO Fans with shares in QPR

Are they still worth Jack **** or has Uncle Tony now made them worth something and is considering paying us a dividend now we are still in the Premiership :drunk:

I have never pretended to understand the finances but always found it strange that Eccleston and Briatore allowed us to keep them rather then swallowing them up for themselves as they were entitled to do

Who knows we might even be allowed to attend AGM`s again in the future!

I could be wrong but I understood them to be worthless now and they've been written off. Hope not because I've still got a few left!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I dont think they are though I expect they are only worth about 1p each

Perhaps we should make TF an offer? :drunk:

Others will know better than me, but, I think our fans collective number of shares was miniscule compared to the total amount, and that Tango & Cash left them as a token gesture with fans.
It was probably only worth buying up from those who had tens or hundreds of thousands of them, ours are just a drop in the ocean.

I think they are fairly worthless, pennies at most, if they can still be traded (on AIM, I think)

I never bourght for profit, only to say "but I'm a shareholder", to any Steward who tried to throw me out of the ground !!!

I was never interested in profit either, just to own a bit of our club. I suppose we don't own any of it any more.

It could only happen to QPR fans couldnt it?

Invest in a company when its rock bottom and buy some shares and then when the company hits the big time we get **** all back on our investment

I had the misfortune of having to sign on the 'rock n roll' for a short while at the beginning of the latest recession . . . . . And being the fine upstanding citizen that I am, told them all about my £10 Premium Bond & my shares in the mighty Hoopz , they wouldn't pay me until they got it in writing how much they were worth, . . . . 1.5p each it turned out at the time with no chance ofthem them

"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

I have a few blades of grass from the Leeds game at home when we were crowned Champions. I reckon they are probably worth more than those shares!

Originally at the time bernie and co completed the purchase of shares there were about 2.7% that were left in the hands of small investers. it was originally planned to force the sale of the shares but the supporters trust and I think the LSA plus some individuals made representation asking for supporters to be able to retain them. To be far to Bernie Amit and Flavio they were fairly happy to oblige

Since then More shares have been issued to offset against some of the investment my best guess without looking it up is these shares held by supporters amount to about 0.5%

Ive still got mine I didnt see it was worth cashing in for a fraction of what was originally paid, not expecting to ever make any money on them as nobody involved in a takeover would ever need them however you never know
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
