  • My view - Last Night

I have read a lot over the last few days; from some new and older posters giving a wide range of opinions. (Some good, some bad and some strange)

Here is my take on last night and the last few and coming weeks.

I felt last night was 'OK' (I did go to the game) Not many times did I feel threatened by the away team and not many times did we look like losing.

AS WE ALL know, playing lower league teams is hard (Its a cup final for them) and as always with QPR we struggle to even turn up against them. But this was NOT the case last night.

We scored goals, we kept the ball and we created lots of chances!

SWP - He did ok, he lacks confidence still but looked ok IMO Scored a goal and looked dangerous in parts
Zamora - Superb hold up play, good assist and great goal
Faurlin - what a guy he is, holds it up well and can play a pass wherever he is into feet. DECENT! still lacking fitness and will need another few weeks to get back to match fitness

We looked more solid at the back tonight (Nelson was more commanding) Still need a CB to come in and bulk up. Anton didnt have a bad game at all. Total rubbish, he didnt make any mistakes. In fact Jose probably made the worst with a poor pass back. We never really had many issues

Although last night we played a lower league team, its always key to remember to give them respect (They are professional) They actually played and passed the ball around at times quite nicely. So all in all a good nights work. I didnt feel we put 100% in either!

Ok so we got smashed against Swansea (first half we looked decent)

Norwich we finally got a point against away - Decent result

Next few games will be hard so dont get on the teams back, we are still building.

One new CB and I feel we will really be a force this season.

    Keep the faith

    You R'sssssssss

Yeah agree with most of that mate pretty good workout for the boys , no injuries a few goals and Ali getting 90 minutes all positives for me . Don't know what some people expect really ? There were three guys in the row behind me last night constantly slagged the team off from the first to last kick and it was almost like they were there just to have a moan . I can be very critical myself but these boys were ridiculous . Anyway enough about that onwards and upwards come on you Rsss

We always seem to perform well against the better sides, so think a few people will be shocked against citeh. Not saying we will beat them, but i dont think we will get the beating most expect. I think we will play good football, keep good posession and dont think we will get beaten by more than 1

There seems to be an abundance of fans like these at games recently. Never understood it myself. Rather they went to Craven Cottage or Stamford Bridge.

I'm not exhagirating either they were so infuriating, my Missus had to stop me turning round on more than one occasion and it normally takes a lot to wind me up . Actually ruined it a bit cos they were just relentless in their abuse. So embarrassing and it's quite easy to see why scuffles break out between rangers fans ( which has always happened) when you've got ***** like this ' supporting' the team .

Was pleased with what I saw last night.
The team needed that game, the fans needed that game, a win, no matter who against, does wonders for confidence and morale, both for players, and fans alike.
