Does anyone else think the John Terry thing has affected him?

yes i think it has knocked his self belief. can't fault the guy for having some passion - he has shown that in a number of games - however ability seems to have declined. he was poor last night and seemed to be hasty in distributing the ball resulting in poor delivery.
      come on you r's!

he needs to give short pass to midfilder.
try too much for giving a ball to direct Cisse or Zamora

I would be interested in seeing Onuoha and Nelsen paired against City.

I'm sure he will have his supporters but I thought he was quite poor last night and he should NOT be first choice but a back up squad player.... I hink that he's too hesitant and if he is going to continue to play with his shirt tucked in his shorts ala Simon Cowell then he might as well join X-Factor now the chump chops.....

Im a bit of a defender of Anton tbh, think he gets alot of undue stick, but have to admit he was very poor last night. As Ji sung says above, he does tend to try a loft the ball forward alot and it gets intercepted which I noticed yesterday, quite frustrating.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

He was pretty poor again....I think his days as first choice may be numbered.

Always has been very overated player no pace, doesn't close down anyone, Prma Dona, living on Bros reputation just not good enough, There was a reporter on Talks##t last week saying if Rs wanted to progress into top 10 team would need better than him he's only a lower prem team player?

I have never been really impressed with him, even when he was at WHU and Sunderland.

He keeps losing concentration, and hitting long balls, reminds me too much of Hall, only he doesn't get injured so often.

I would prefer to see Nelsen and Onouha or preferably a new centre half with pace, strength, aerial ability and who doesn't hoof the ball upfield so often...is that too much to ask?

I only read the write-up but didn't he make at least two saves in front of goal?

Bar his passing I thought he played well. Nelson was very good IMO

He played ok, but that was against League 1 opponents.

However, his passing is a major problem at Premier League level, as giving the ball away puts more pressure on everyone and as we saw against Swansea, it often leads to goalscoring chances. QPR need better, unless Hughes wants to play a long ball, direct style.

No not even the Gaffer M.H. and Macca always had big run ins and one of them always seemed to get sent off! Huges says he's even got the scars to prove it!
