Thought he had a great game tonight. Links play up so well and wins his tackles. Sling him straight back in, a very welcome new signing that argie lad.

Our midfield has been below par so far, I'd give ale a start on Saturday with park and Diakite in a 4-5-1. He has to get some minutes somewhere otherwise he'll never make it back. Looked decent to me w12, fail to see how you can say he didnt play well. His passing was top drawer. Certainly missed him.

He was very good tonight but as has been said, it was only Walsall and he looks a little way off being fully match fit.

How many minutes did he play? Did he look quite tired at the end then?

Looked like Paul Scholes. Didn't do much but 90% of what he did was good and he ain't gonna get fit sitting on the bench. Him and Park looked like they could form a decent 2 in front of the defence.

He played the whole match, could tell he wasn't fully fit but was impressed, we really miss his passing in midfield!

Got through the whole 90. Yeah he looked knackered.

Faurlin and Park were great in centre midfield today. Ale played very well, Give him the last 30 mins on saturday and I reckon he could start the Chelsea game after the international break.

dont think city away as his first league match back would be too good for his confidence.

Bit harsh with that assessment. Would say he's more 3-4 weeks away. Just needs game time. Couple of sloppy passes here and there by a promising return. As mentioned it was only Walsall though.

Thought Park wasn't all that tonight. Missed the first half and wasn't overlay impressed with him tonight. Hope its his bad one out the way and a cracker is on the offering this saturday from him.
