Apologies if already posted. Puts to bed all the crap about us being big spending and throwing money around.

16th...which is about where we will finish unless we see the club invest in quality players with a bit of hunger about them (Hoilett) rather than do other clubs favours by reducing their wage bill (Johnson,Nelson,Fabio,Zamora)....tbf tho i'd take 16th now.

You're right we do need to buy and strengthen at the back and centre midfield. Although it must be hard attracting players when our stadium and training ground are worse than any other premiership club which i think is why we have to offer such high wages.

if thats the case, City will finish 8th, and West Ham 7th.

yer your right there tbh. The trouble is attracting the RIGHT players with these high wages and not the mercenary types who make a living by sitting on the bench of a premiership club raking the money in and not giving a toss.

Not sure I agree with 3 of the 4 players you mention. Nelson is a model pro, Zamora did well against Norwich and is a decent prem striker, Fabio has something to prove. If you look at players we've got rid of and compare to squad now, the squad is miles better.

ok ill give you Zamora.....maybe. But Nelson looks to have been bought for back up...back up for what? we need first team CB's. Fabio is a bit like Traore ..great going forward inconsistently but consistently poor defensively so far. I dunno maybe Hughes is a great coach who can get them all to perform at their own top level and become a team unit? or maybe he is at this moment pulling his hair out trying to work out wtf team he is going to pick on Saturday.

Agree about CBs and annoying thing is that we've known we needed a decent defender since season finished and for some reason we seem to be trying to get this quality defender in the last week of the transfer window. I just think we have to look on it as a gradual process since the squad last year was in my view the worst in the prem but our first Xi was just about good enough. We've got rid of a lot of rubbish and replaced with better (not fantastic) but definitely better players. Let's see where we are come Christmas.

Would like to see us spend a bit more on 3 players. Left back, centre half and centre mid.

Totally agree, been saying the same for weeks.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
