  • taking the missus to a qpr game

now me and my girlfriend have made a mutual agreement she will never take me diving (she is a marine biologist) and i will never take her to a qpr game.

how has everyone elses experiences been with the matter? ive done it once with an ex girlfriend and it felt like i was getting quizzed by the old bill, one question being what is the offside rule. after this experienced i vowed never to make the mistake again
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

i've been to a game with my mate girlfriend.... She just sat there in silence either commenting on the players or on her phone...

I'm taking mine for the first time tomorrow and she's a complete loom so dunno what to expect. Might show her the delights of the British queen while I'm at it

Then girlfriend now wife took her to QPR Brentford about 10 years ago, she sat through the whole game and then aked which team the bloke in the black kit played for. I kid you not.

A couple of years ago took her to the 1st game of the season with our daughter. Couldnt sit next to them so told her to meet me at half time outside their block. At half time no sign of them, called her on the mobile, she didn't know the game had started. She reckons her phone was an hour back so didn't realise it was 3:45. Standing in the concourse explaining when the match starts was probably one of the lowest points in my life supporting QPR.

In a way I like the fact she isn't into football.

Taking the Boss to City on Saturday as we are out with friends in Manchester after and it would have ruined my cider quota to pick her up ! Took her to HQ once before and all she did was keep telling me to calm down and stop swearing . . . . . I can a mighty cider induced row on the horizon !

For us that would mean around 29k."

if my missus birthday falls on a match day i'll buy her a ticket and i've taken her to rangers twice on wedding anniversaries, she's as good as gold and loves the atmosphere

she never asks stupid questions, thought kas-the-bandage was gorgeous (apparently he's on her 'list' ) and suggested adam bolder had been castrated!
I don't care about morals 'cause the world's insane and we're all to blame anyway

Brought the now wife to Sheffield Wednesday for THAT game, she is quite into sport & has four brothers, all QPR fans - helped at start!!!

However she wasn't best pleased when Paul Furlong scored and as I embraced the goal with a mate beside me, accidentally chinned her then never realised till Wednesday had taken centre and our celebrations had died down a bit.
