sadly im yet to be convinced by his replacement, even though he is being played out of position his performances so far have seemed light weight and gutless (most of the teams players can be included in this on current form). it almost seems like it did when warnock lost the dressing room, lets hope something changes soon otherwise confidence and team spirit will be lower than it is already. a win against wallsall may inject the kind of impetus we need.

Did we get relegated ?
Originally posted by willis1980 View Postno we didnt dave, if the linesman at bolton had opened his eyes again given a legitimate goal, swps goal given, diakite not mowed players down like a loon or cisse racked up red cards like theres no tomorrow we wouldve never been in that position. a scape goat has been identified and popular opinion has followed, thats all there is too it.
Indeed we didn't, but no thanks to Barton.
Less than a handful of 'decent' appearances out of say 30 ? Wolves (a), Arsenal (h) are the only ones that spring to mind.
Sent off twice (just like Cisse !) But his actions against City were the most self distruct since Cantona.
Then he makes up some bull about his team mates told him to do it ? Not very 'Team' is it ? Squealer ?
Plenty of on field conflicts against Adel and Mackie and others.
Plenty of OUR players don't like him (I know of a handful at least)
Some of our target signings have turned us down BECAUSE of him.
He hardly brought a glowing reputation with him.
Despite many 'last chances', there's no sign of him taking one of them.
Warnock fell out with him, he slated him (admittedly, I might look upon that differently since Colin signed the Sewer Rat)
Hughes clearly has had enough.
Me too. Time to move on. He and the French deserve each other.

they dont have to like each other, all they have to do is work together. theres plenty more important shifts he put in tbh, but as youve made your stand point on JB pretty clear youre not likely to wither list or notcie them. fact of the matter we have to replace him in the mean time, and i dont believe we have done so. any who whether its kp, rvp or jb its all gotten rather boring, im sure sooner enough we will all have found another persona non grata. Rob green seems to be filling the void left by jb quite nicely in the meantime.

Half to admit I half respect Joey and his tweets yesterday. Tells it as it is, doesnt shy away, faces things head on and openly admits he wants go and play football rather than sit and pick up his dollar.
Obviously thats his time up, bit of a shame really but I suppose its for the best. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Cry me a river.
I can count on one hand the amount of games where he earned his alleged £80k per week last season..... And he nearly got us relegated....... So in terms of value for money...... Joseph was pretty poor.
I do however respect the fact that he's not slagged us off (as of yet) - and wants to play football. Just a shame that he didn't want to give his all for us.........

So you think we were a one man team?SWP didn't exactly set the world on fire did he Adel f*cked off at ht in one game that's helpful, Bothroyd doing an impression of tree all season, plenty of players nearly saw us relegated.
He was the frickin' club captain on £80k a week. Doesn't matter what Betty, SWP, Tarbs or anyone else did.... In one of the biggest games in our history he acted like a total ***** and was pretty much the basis for the cause and effect that followed.
All year apart from a handful games he was sh1te. He even admitted this himself saying that he had "fallen out of love with the game". Even that money grabbing ***** Vinnie Jones put in a decent shift.......
