I'm not saying that 3 million on a striker is doing a Chelski or Man City, but the club has to live by its own means. The OWNERS are rich, the CLUB is not. If the owners put the money in now they will want it back when they leave, and they will leave at some point and where would we be then - Where would Chelsea be if the Russian left them?? What happened to us when Chris Wright stopped putting money in, then wanted some of his "investment" back. Or maybe we should pay a couple of million for the next Mike Sheron.

Must admit i like the look of City but rather do what we are doing and taking
