MARK HUGHES has revealed he will select a strong squad for Walsall match

Bosingwa expected to make home bow versus Walsall

Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk ahead of the second round clash against the Saddlers, Hughes said: “We’ll take this competition seriously, without any doubt.

“I’ll pick a team I believe can help us progress into the third round.”

Hughes is likely to hand a first start to Jose Bosingwa, who entered the fray as a second half substitute against Norwich on Saturday, whilst Shaun Wright-Phillips will also definitely feature.

The R's boss added: “I will make changes to the side, but that doesn’t mean it’s a competition I don’t respect.

“Jose will come in for his first start and Shaun – who had a great pre-season and has been very unlucky not to feature more so far this season – will play.

“Other players who are in and around the first team squad will also get a run out, because they need games to keep them ticking over.”

Like many others I feel SWP is going to have a good season this year, I think he will score tomorrow if played.

We are at home and think the team should go out there and attack, we need to gel fast.

By the way, can two adults sit in the Lower Loft tomorrow? Or does that 'you need to have a kid with you' rule still apply? Thinking of sitting there tomorrow.

Agreed, playing a strong team tomorrow will help the players play as a 'team' faster, and Hughes needs to play SWP on the right at City, we need pace! They play 3 at the back and we can take advantage of that with the players we have.

Great chance for the gelling process to continue . Wins give confidence and we could certainly use some of that .
