facto's take on the situation!!!!!!

so after just two games it seems we are in for another season of fighting for our premiership survival???......my feelings are that we were in for that sort of season reguardless of how we started...the plain facts are that while we have brought in the type of players we could only have dreamed of a few short seasons ago they are still hardly earth movers in quality premier league terms.....decent players yes but the delusions that 'top ten' finishes were on the cards were wildly over expectant imho and heaped pressure on our hopes before a ball was kicked......if we finish fourth bottom again ,on goal difference' it will be mission accomplished and before you say 'what ambition is that' we are the 'smallest team in the league' so that will be 'some achievement' believe me.....i wasnt over the moon with hughes appointment after warnock and im still unsure he will get it right in time before tf gets trigger happy again...he ,for me, isnt bold enough in team selections and away from home we will struggle every time until he chances this 'must not lose by many' policy he seems to have adopted.....i cant see us getting more than a point from the next three games so west ham will in my book be an early 'six pointer' as they look woefully short of any quality ......but keeps the faith people cos this time ten years ago we were playing cheltenham/rushden/hartlepool......we've come a long way since!

A very good post. But based on the experiences from last night´s show(cough,cough) I think there are a few players who have to wait a long time to get picked again.
BUT, anyway- we got a point against Norwich. A team we rarely beat.
