although cisse was caught offside he looked a lot better with his runs than when he tried to hold the ball up last week, and seemed hungrier to get a goal and less annoyed.

we always look calmer as a team when derry is on defensively if ale can fulfill this role when back we will look a bit more solid in midfield as well as defense when we hopefully sign the center backs

Yeah but let's be honest this post is scraping the barrell a bit as there were very few positives and even though we somehow scraped a point I still think there is plenty to be worried about rather than concentrate on some tenuous positive points.... Still, here's hoping that City and CFC don't embarrass us too much....:(

we got something from a ground where we usually get nout.
            Green did well.
            Clint Hill is finished.
Cisse will study the offside rule this week hard before next game.
Bobby Z got 3 more stiches to improove his looks.
new training kit logo looks nice.

Anton - big improvement and better concentration

Zamora - took his goal well. Solid as ever, good strength and hold up play.

Park - another good performance, full of good running/passing/tackling and starting to become more vocal as a captain.
And what with the players others have also mentioned, it bears out what I believe I saw yesterday. A markedly improved performance all across the field, and one Mark and the lads can build on.

Anyone would think that we were under continuous siege at Carrot Road yesterday.
Norwich were no great shakes, and we did deserve the point we earned. EARNED, NOT STOLE.

Tony Fernandes Blue N White Army

                            positives

anton-recovering from being battered in the opening minute to have a reasonable game
                            green-1 very good save
park-worked hard(passing could have been better)
fabio-much much better at right back
                            hoilett-(pacey skillful)
2 upfront so much better than the rubbish 1 up front v swans

overall we battled hard for a point(dont think norwich are that geat but any points away are to be celebrated and it will be our home record that will be more important)

given what happened in the previous game plus our awful fortunes on the road last season a point at Carrot Road is not a bad result imo.
                              come on you r's!

I think the main positive is the team looks like it is starting to come together. Against Swansea and the first 20-30 mins on sat, it looked like a disjointed team of individuals, as the game developed on saturday we started to look more and more robust. Based on what i saw on saturday, i think we have a very strong team in the making
