barton offered us nothing imo mellow. gets top dollar for a player who is much better in his own head. decent tackle(no pun) but tries to do what he see's other players do i.e passing. a liability for me. 3 good games from a captain says to me its a new buy we need.PRIDE OF LONDON.

If you look at the teams MH put together at Blackburn and Fulham they started to gel after about 6 or 7 games. Hughes teams always start slow, but by end of Jan we'll be mid table and safe by begining of March
MH will be at the club whilst TF is still owner, too much has been put into the new infrastructure, new training ground, academy, new stadium etc etc and MH is right at the centre of this. Longevity is what TF is all about.22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I really don't want to bore the pants off you but you did ask. The facts are that last seasons key problem has not been addressed, we all know that really. So Q2 is why? Top CBs are serious wedge. I think most people on here would have taken Dawson (say) at the expense of some of our other signings. Meanwhile the same board with plans for a new stadium congratulates itself last week on having spent so little money, as quoted on here. Leaving aside the fact that If we don't spend in the right place we wont be needing a new stadium, we spent low and still have a massive hole at the back. I think its totally reasonable to question that. Harry is at a time of life where he doesn't need ********, he said that before. He doesn't want even a sniff of another Portsmouth on his hands. He can do without hand to mouth at his time of life.
There are other issues regarding Hughes but people wont agree. I wouldn't ditch him now, but NW didn't benefit from extended favours so why should Hughes - if we're still struggling at that point? I'm sure any reasonable person would agree that at that point there will be a case to answer. I just hope it wont be too late because in all honesty we've looked poor for a long time. Just an opinion.

So you don't think we have improved the squad? The reason the amount of money was brought up was because every f*ckwit oppo fan and media were complaining that we were spending beyond our means, not that it is any of their business. So to you we have to spend big? I'd be quite happy to pay half a mill for a player as long as he can play at this level, but you rate a player obviously on how much he costs.
I personally don't want 'arry anywhere near us. Oh and finally transfer window ain't shut yet, but by claiming our owners are all mouth and no trousers makes you sound like a spoilt ignorant child.

to the origional poster
to the origional poster,I can understand your feelings ,you are a passionate fan who wants the team to play like swansea
I think warnock did speak a lot of sense when he said we came up to quickly
if we had of stayed in the lower division for another couple of seasons we may well have built a super team, instead we came up with a tallented but unbalanced team that was very dependent on a brilliant individual from morroco

MH isn't the best manager in the league, but we are not going to attract a top manager. So I think he is about what we should expect.

having being to both games so far I must say I dont think MH has any idea on how to get his best 11 and a system that suits either. 3 of Swansea's last 4 goals came by them running 30-40 yds unchallenged and picking out an unmarked player for a 1 on 1 with Green. We have a new keeper and a defence that needs improving hence bids for Samba in January and Dawson now. Our team last week and yesterday looked very unbalanced and unfortunately the blame for that lies we the man who picks the team.
