  • dawson deal is dead?

Move to QPR doesn't appeal even though a fee's been agreed and while he fancies a switch to Sunderland they haven't made Spurs an offer

    and

come on sparky! shawcross and carvalho are waiting by their phones.

Not sure it's dead yet mate, maybe he wants money from Spurs to leave, and so is making it awkward for them ............dunno. Either way, hopefully we do have other quality targets lined up as you point out, Shawcross would be good vfm

thing is time is the one thing that's running out and the key issue unresolved. How it came to this fvck knows.

Dawson would prefer a move to sunderland.

Lets be fair Dawson a defender that has played Champions League football at Tottenham and been in England Squads. The deal was always going to be a hard on to complete and such a shame as we need a top centre half and he falls into that category. The interesting thing is a fee was agreed tuesday but the deal looks to have fallen through in the last 24 hours. Do we actually have anymore targets in mind?

He's only got 3 more england caps than Bothroyd.... and just over half those of Luke young. Clearly means little these days.

Cue the petulant "he's **** and we didn't want him anyway" posts

Despite my misgiving about the price, I'm disappointed he probably won't be signing.

We wouldn't met his £60K a week demands so structured in bonuses for clean sheets, Europa spot, avoiding relegation etc but still fell short of what Dawson wanted
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Maybe MH is waiting for the deal to actually fall through (he said that it had just hit a snag) before pursuing other targets.

would have made a great captain and a is a very good organiser as well, very big shame that the deal looks to be dead.

We're approaching the 'sh** or bust' stage though. No time to wait for decisions, we need to have a back-up plan ready to go.

We seem to be linked to every player known to man and this a daily thing, What with the tablods and silly twitter rumours knocking around it is becoming a little bit of a farce. The question is do we have a list of targets and if so when will we bid for them? So far the one confirmed bid was Dawson

Don't think it's completely dead, just moving slow. Could be an issue and its taking time to resolve. Still think it could happen.
