  • Fabio or Traore?

I know Traore is still injured so it's a bit of a moot point but who is our preferred left back?....I know Fabio's preffered position is right back but he is flexible and can play left back or mf whereas Traore is an out and out left back. Both play the left back role as an attacking left back but Fabio seemed to be relatively weak on his right foot against Swansea. It's probably not fair to judge him on that one game though given the overall team performance. Man Utd fans really rate Fabio, some above his brother so just wondered what other Rs were thinking on the subject?

On an aside, do you think Swansea's Michu was actually good or did we make him look good?

I think Michu was good, but we certainly made him look better than he is.

Fabio needs time to settle in, I think Traore is better though. If only due to his crossing ability, which is superb. Both a lot better going forward than in attack for sure. Although Fabio is a little terrier, so have high hopes for him.

Erm.....but do we have better?........They're both very good going forward to be fair.....I really like Traore at left back myself but I'm sure Fabio has something to offer to the team also, just wonder whether it's at left back or elsewhere.

I would start Traore, if we were to start Fabio & he had a bad game, it could impact he's long term confidence.

Rangers are buoyed at Carrow Road by the return of left-back Armand Traore and forward Bobby Zamora – both of whom have recovered from injury.

I like both players, I was surprised to see Fabio sign as we already have an attacking full back in Traore. As you see at Real Madrid (I know we aren't them but same thing here) Coentrao is the defence left back & Marcelo is the attacking. We got two attacking. For me Traore is better but that's just my opinion and i've been wrong many times
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Personally traore purely on the basis that he is ours. He is very young so can be moulded by Hughes and the team in years to come he could be one of the best has the attributes however without game time all we will see is fabio getting expirience to then go back to man u. Saying that tho traore is very injury prone!!!!

If Bosingwa isnt match fit, i'd play Fabio RB and Traore LB, as was the case in pre season. CB's of Nelsen and Ferdinand. Onouha proved again to be a liability for me and Hill is gettign caught out for pace.

I'm a Traore man myself, he's our player so would rather play him and develop his game rather than Fabio's

Traore is a left back apparently, so he should play left back ahead of someone who isn't. And what are the H&F Chronicle on about regarding BZ? He was on the bench on Saturday. If he was injured he wouldn't have been a sub.
