Im sure people on here just want Adel to play and pick on Jamie Mackie, who IMO, is only on the right at the moment because Park has to cover in the middle.

I would honestly be happy to see this in the middle tomorrow, Derry holding with Diakite pushing on, but I can see MH doing it.

To answer the question regarding when faurlin is back park will be right side so where will adel go? Easy replace Zamora if adel can stick to this role and not be found running back and playing a cm lol we are not lumping balls up there now hogan even said yesterday mark wants the ball on the. So who can make better passes to cisse Zamora or adel?

I wouldn't disagree with that Paul, as at least with that midfield we'd concede less possession. Question marks have to remain over Derry though, over 90 minutes.

But even with that line-up, dependant on the opposition/venue, you could still either play Adel in a more disciplined role behind Cisse, or Zamora in a 4-4-2.

I think you underestimate the rest of us, and you assume that because you have an 'anyone but Adel' mindset, that we would be the polar opposite, and insist that Adel is untouchable. That's not the case, certainly not for me at least

If there is a line up that works better without Adel,then so be it. At the moment I'm convinced there is no such line up.

Your line up up there is as close as we can get, but I think Adel wide and Park in the middle, is stronger than Park wide and Derry in the middle.

It is good to know we have options this season however.

They don't pick on Jamie Mackie. You simply play your best players. Adel has more influence on games and is a better overall player than Mackie. You only have to go to games to see that. Sometimes you have to accomodate them. Yes you will quote Mackie having better stats than Adel. But i think Mackie had better stats last year than Luka Modric. But Modric is by far a better player than Mackie........ unless of course Real Madrid are after Mackie and not Modric?

Bold decision if Hughes plays Derry. Not a bad shout though to let Samba bomb on and play Park in his best position on the right. Adel will have a strop at being sub but hopefully he comes on and tries to prove a point to the manager.
