Why are people calling Cesar old? He is 32! Goalkeepers go on into their late 30s. For me still one of the top goalkeepers in world football and it's crazy to think little old QPR are linked to such players.

#QPR are in talks to sign Inter Milan's Júlio César, I can report. Tech director Mike Rigg is speaking with the Brazilian's representatives.

No transfer strategy at all, scattershot name-chasing, and no courage in the conviction of your previous signings.

If you google Cesar and QPR, you come up with at least two pages of references from different sources. Not sure if this is relevent.

is that the only reason why you see this being true? Brazil have quite few decent goalkeepers playing these days. Julio Cesar is still a lot better than most in the Premier League - better than Man United's de Gea that's for sure!! And at 32, he is probably coming into his prime. I'd love it if we got him, but I can't see it happening.

However, lets just get ANY goalkeeper in before the window shuts, I don't think I can handle watching Rob Green in goal until January

                      QPR linked with Julio Cesar

Sky Sports understands Queens Park Rangers have opened talks over a possible swoop for Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

It is cringeworthy to think we could be replacing Green after one game, but if MH is not convinced then he has to act.

I think that it is more needing competition for spaces - cerny (too old) and murphy (not premiership standard) do not provide that

Spot on. Would any of us be comfortable with Murphy playing in goal should Cerny and Green pick up injuries?

anyone think Cesar will be sitting on the bench for us? He'll go straight in to the team if he signs, surely
