Seems like panic in the boardroom to me. What has happened to our world-class scouting operation under Rigg?
Can't help feeling this whole thing is going to come crashing down around us. One or two older experienced players,ok. But another 34 year old in a defence where the average age is already about...33 or so??

Average age 33.... what are you on.....?

Clint is about 33, Traore / Fabio / Onoura about 23 and under, Anton about 27 at a guess.

Where do you get this idea from?

        Nelson - 34
        Hill - 33
        Bosingwa - 29
        Ferdinand - 27
        Fabio - 22
        Traore - 22

        Average age of under 28.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Blood and guts Dawson ,reader Carvallo .
I'm a bit worried about Dawson tho Levy is the overseer of all at Spurs a hard business man and I wouldn't trust him with a penny

All he does is demand top money for his players... cant blame him really. anyway if reports are true, the negotiations with Levy are concluded as a fee has been agreed. Its all about convincing Dawson to join now.

Ok, I admit to exaggerating but only to make a general point about our acquisitions policy, which has been made before.
You surely must have concerns that either Rigg and co are getting it wrong, which is bad, or are being overruled from above, which is surely worse.

Rigg has only set up within the last 6 months or so, gonna take a year or two to start seeing results. All about experience in the short term.

Exaggerating to make a point? What that does is prove you don't have a valid point in the first place.

I don't think we need to worry about Rigg et al. They are here long term and will be tasked with finding the right talent for the next 5-10 years. We have already seen a lot of young European prospects linked, such as Zouma. These are the sort of gems that may require what seems high investment for their age initially, but in a few years treble in value.

However, short term we need to consolidate and establish ourselves as a prem club. For that we need a fair mix of older heads to steady the ship. The policy is right... have faith.
