  • why loan out barton

I realise he isnt able to play for us for three months but ,if he played the last two thirds of the season at least he can score some goals and can put some steel into the team

do you agree lads or do you think we should ship him out

        ship him out.

fairly obvious that his ban isn't the main concern that the club have with him. saturday night's twitter antics probably show that he understands that too (and has no intention of building bridges).

Like I've said before, all that matters to me is that Joey is a good player. When all is said and done, come January when the squad is looking thin due to ACN and injuries/suspensions then Joey Barton should play for us. And if he plays well enough, he should keep his place in the team. It's that simple.

At the end of the day, he's our player and we need to use him for the benefit of the team. People need to stop getting so personal about this, and I include Sparky and Joey in this.

you don't know what goes on behind the scenes, he could be a right mare to work with.

hughes obviously don't rate him much and i bet there are a few players who don't like him that much

I heard somewhere that 2 players turned us down sheerely because they didn't want to play with ball bag

So have those players signed now that Hughes has assured them he won't play for us again?

There was no way Hughes was going to keep him after Man City game and what followed after, just a case of getting a deal that is best for both parties.

It's a shame because we really did miss him on Saturday. But his days are numbered and we need to look else where.

Still think he should be loaned out until January. Read somewhere that MH said the loan deal Mbia/Barton could be until January. This might not be a bad idea. Give the club enough time to see if Mbia was going to fit in (and possibly sign him in January) and find out if we really miss Barton.
